ENDLESS LOVE

This Year's Valentines Movie
On Valentines Day this year, the movie to see was "Endless Love." I went to see it with my friend Celeste Pate, and we loved it! Unknown when I went to see it, it's a remake of a 1981 "Endless Love." Critics say that it wasn't necessary to remake the beloved 1981 movie, but that the director Shana Feste did a very nice job. She didn't do too much or too little. The movie is about a somewhat forbidden romance. Two teenagers go through high school having never met, but they begin dating the day after graduation. Jade is the main female character, and her brother died while she was in high school so she never lived out the full experience. David makes it worth while during the summer while they are dating, giving her the best summer she had had in a while. The dad doesn't think David is a good influence on his daughter because he isn't planning to go to college yet has an impeccable SAT score. However, Jade's mom adores David and thinks he is a great guy for her. David and Jade continue their forbidden relationship with flying colors. It is rare, but they do have some rocky moments. the father even got a restraining order against David causing Jade to go off to college while he stays in their small town. A semester into college, she comes back, meets David, and they run off together to watch her other older brother elope. when they get back in town, suspenseful events occur and they all live happily ever after...
