"I Still Believe in God"
I agree with Michael J. Murray more than I expected to. I just think it does not matter as much anymore. Creation plays a role in the Bible, but I do not see it as the defining line between Christians and Evolutionists. I appreciate the fact that Murray acknowledges other people's views, but he doesn't let it affect him. I want to be the type of person that can listen to whatever anyone has to say about a topic, yet not get frustrated when it isn't exactly like mine. I am planning to live a life of living as Christ rather than arguing about how we got here on earth. Yes, how we came into existence matters, but it is not a necessity in your faith. I am a Christian that does not enjoy arguing over minute parts in Scripture. I appreciate hearing the fact that Ham and Nye argued in a civilized manner because if there comes a situation in which you cannot void an argument, it needs to be controlled and relaxed. We should never offend the other person or yell in an immature manner. There is much more to life than how we got here. The fact is that we are here, and we need to live every moment as if it could be our last.
