Most Hated Bachelor??
Most every American citizen can say they have at least heard of the ABC television series 'The Bachelor.' It is mainly viewed by women of all ages. It is entertaining to watch twenty-four women fight for the love of one man. The makers of this series never fail to choose a good-looking, interesting guy to be that season's bachelor. This season's Bachelor is Juan Pablo Galavis. He is from Venezuala, and, while his accent brings an attractive aspect to him, it has also gotten him in trouble. He has received much harsh criticism when it comes to comments he makes. For example, he has retweeted specific, offensive, tweets pertaining to homosexuals and people with special needs. Each of these comments have caused much uproar all across America. He continuously defends himself by 'blaming it on cultural differences.' Yes, I agree that what he retweets can be found immature and rude, but I would not judge him entirely on those perspectives. Fox News even blamed comments such as these to be why "two women have left the competition, proclaiming they didn’t want to date him." I watched the 'Women Tell All' episode of the 'The Bachelor' this past week and one of the two women stood up for Juan Pablo. I believe that Mr. Galavis made a mistake by the comments he associated himself with because he should know he is being watched by women all over America. However, I will never truly know what he meant by the comments, so I have no place to assume anything by his character.
